Sun Outdoor Lake Travis (Formerly known as La Hacienda RV Resort) is located near Lake Travis, probably the loveliest lake in all of Texas, just northwest of Austin. The location is excellent because it’s just outside the city’s bustle, yet there are still plenty of things to do within a few miles of each other.
The region where the park is located is surrounded on three sides by Lake Travis. Lake Travis was created in the 1930s due to the Colorado River being dammed. Mansfield Dam Park, which lies just over three miles away, is the dam’s site. The Colorado River may be seen in some unique places, and a lovely park is nearby.
Along with Lake Travis, areas like Lakeway and Bee Cave, which are close by and offer plenty of dining options, retail centers, and supermarkets, are also nearby. Torchy’s Tacos is undoubtedly the restaurant we enjoy the most. To die for was the taco with fried avocado. Naturally, don’t overlook downtown Austin! Only slightly more than 20 miles separate you from there.
